They have a double coat that is medium length and straight to slightly wavy. Their coat colors are blue merle, black, red, merle and all red with or without white markings and/or tan points

They are typically a very easy going dog.

Toy Australian Shepherds are wary with strangers but never aggressive. They love to be with their family and are great with children and other pets.

They are easy to groom.  Brushing once or twice a week will help to minimize shedding.

The Toy Australian Shepherd learn very quickly and are one of the easiest breeds to train.
