The St Bernard can have short and smooth hair or medium to long hair.

This breed is very friendly but also powerful and strong.  They are gentle and love being around people.

St Bernards are great with children!

They should be brushed frequently and their eyes need to be kept clean.

Obedience training is highly recommended due to their size as adults.

They do best with small amounts of exercise rather then extensive amounts of exercise at one time.
