Their coat is long, straight double-coated with a coarse top coat.  Their coat colors vary.

This dog is friendlly,stubborn and independent. This breed is also courageous  despite it’s small size.

Pekingese are fun loving and do well with children and other pets.  They enjoy the affection of their owners and can be considered a lapdog.  They are quite content to lounge in the lap of their master.

Coat can be kept in good condition by daily grooming with a brush or comb.

The Pekingeses can be very difficult to train.  Puppy classes are highly recommended for this breed.

This dog needs a minimal amount of exercise.
