I have only and still own one jug,they are very loving and a one person dog. They are very energetic easy to train and very loyal in my experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a loyal loving companion however I believe they are not too kid friendly in my experience with my jug but I love her to the moon and back!!

We have had our jug for 2 years now. He is super smart. He is very loving and craves affection. He is fantastic around people and other animals. We socialized him at an early age and it worked out beautifully. Being part pug, he is highly food motivated, so we watch how much food we give him. However, this has also made training him a breeze through positive reinforcement. Also, being part Pug, he tends to follow us everywhere. My wife refers to him as our " little shadow". I don't mind. We love him so much.

Better then a pug and better then a jack. Healthier then a pug, they do not have the breathing problems of a pug because of the longer snout from the jack and they are not as hyper as a jack. Best of both dogs, curly pug tail, beautiful fawn color, face markings of a pug, smart dog!

Zoey is 10 this year and a sweet (and spoiled) pup. She was a very smart and energetic pup. She started to calm down around age 4 years. Jugs are active and mischievous, but so loveable!

I have a wonderful jug who just turned 8 last week. She is loved by everyone because she is playful like a pup, gentle with little children and extremely intelligent. I will never own another breed. In fact, I am seriously thinking of adding another jug to our family soon.

Excellent pet. Good with children and other dogs. Great companion. Must walk on leash or will take off after birds,squirrels,or rabbits. Very low maintenance. Never heard of this breed before,but I am glad I have one.

I love my Jug! She is very high energy when we are outside, but can relax inside. She is extremely food driven and this causes some problems…. she runs away in search of food and she actually got hit by a car (she is fine, $2,500 later). She tries to behave but sometimes is too smart for her own good and she can be intentionally is sneaky or naughty. She loves hunting and she is pretty darn brave - we hunt mean and nasty groundhogs!

Our Jug Bella recently passed away and she was the best dog ever! We loved her and she loved us. She loved to go for walks and curl up next to me at night. Se was a great protector and such a happy, good natured, loving Jug. I have researched all types of dogs and looking for another Jug as we had the best experienced with our Bella!

We were looking for the perfect puppy that would fit in well with our family and be great with the kids. We brought Milo home and right away he adjusted to our house and to our kids. We couldnt be happier with our newest little member of the family. He is a joy and we love him so much. Great family dog and we recommend Jugs to anyone. We will adopt another jug when we are ready to have a new family member!

We welcomed a jug puppy into our homes 4 years ago through a breeder we connected through on the Greenfield Puppies Website. I could not be happier with the addition to our family. Our dog, Sugar is fun-loving, well tempered and LOVES my children! She was easily trained and gets along so well with her cousin dogs- which are much larger than her! I would recommend a jug puppy to anyone!
