The Japanese Chin has a fine, long  black and white coat.

This breed has traits that are almost cat-like. They are very alert, agile, and love to perch themselves high places such as the backs of sofas. They are also known for the “Chin Spin”, which is an adorable fast spinning motion they do when excited, sometimes even standing on their hind legs while spinning. They are also known to “sing” when excited.

Japanese Chins are well mannered and playful dogs.

They need brushed or combed daily.

The Chin can benefit from obedience training, but are generally well behaved dogs.

They need a moderate amount of activity.
