Jack-a-poo Breed Review by Beverly
I had a Jack-a-poo for 11 1/2 years. I lost her on February 4th, 2016. She is the best dog I could have ever hoped to have! She weighed just 2 pounds when I brought her home at 7 wks old. Her entire head would fit inside a 5 ounce paper cup! She was very smart and we had a bond that we could tell what each other was thinking. Words weren't necessary. I know that sounds strange, but it's the truth! I am planning on getting another Jack-a-poo eventually. They are such a joy to have in your life. I would highly recommend this breed to anyone who wants a smart dog that has high energy and loves to play. As long as I kept her hair shaved, she didn't shed. She was remarkably easy to housetrain too. Took about 2 weeks and she never pooped in the house, just tinkled a couple of times. She was an explorer for sure! A leash is definitely a necessity for about the first year or so. Make sure you have a sandbox or somewhere for your Jack-a-poo to dig holes. Digging was only second to playing ball!

Our family has included Betsy for 17 years. She is incredibly intelligent and the best dog I have ever had. She is elderly and nearly blind now but really lives to eat. In her youth she love to fetch, swim and jetski. She can communicate as well as a 1-2 year old and is the best dog ever. My mother-in-law has Betsy's sister Crickett and she's a great dog too. Wonderful, wonderful members of our family.

My Jack a poo just died in September and I really miss him. I would like an older dog, not a puppy.

I owned an amazing Jackapoo for eighteen years. He was the best of both breeds, highly trainable and loyal. We did agility together and he never strayed from my side. Can I give 10 stars?
