Yes we have had 2. Had one for 13 years. Best chow chow we've had. Had another one for 8 years. Her breeding wasn't as good as our first one. But we have tried other breeds of dogs our love is the chow chow.

I have owned a chow for 14 years before I had to put her to sleep, Now I can wait until June to get my new puppy from Ms King. We have name him Little foot. Can't wait to get him chow dog are smart and wonderful dogs

Disagree with the statement of "not the sharpest tool"?? Clearly been proven that this is an intelligent breed, I have raised several over the years, repetition is needed but clearly the person who wrote this may have been too lazy to research this breed in more detail... LOVE THAT BREED!

I have only ever owed chowchows and they are loyal and will protect their people. However, if your not up for the daily grooming then this isn\'t the dog for you. The don\'t require a lot as far huge yards and extra stuff. They do great in apartments and are very loving
