When considering what breed of dog is for you, you mustn’t underestimate the toy dog breeds. As little, and as adorable, as they are, they are still brilliant companions who are intelligent, obedient, and immensely enjoyable to have around. First of all, the size of the Yorkie shouldn’t be seen as a disadvantage, as some would have it, but rather as a serious advantage over other, larger breeds. Owing to the Yorkie’s size, they can easily fit into a small or crowded home or in an urban apartment environment. They’re ideal for city-living, in fact, as it would be cruel to have a larger dog there.

The Yorkie is very intelligent, as well as being a curious breed.
