Their coat is straight and shiny without an under coat.  The colors are similar to the Yorkshire Terrier except for the pure white on the belly, face and legs.

This breed is affectionate, brave, energetic and loyal with their master.

Biewer Yorkies are aggressive to other strange dogs. They are not recommended for young children unless they are carefully supervised.

They require combing with a wire comb weekly

Biewer Yorkshire Terrier are easy to train, although they can sometimes be stubborn.  This breed requires a lot of human attention.

They are active small dogs that need daily exercise.  They are fairly active indoors but should be walked daily.
