They have a very thick coat with a soft look. Their coat color is a mix of grey,black or cream.

The Keeshond is a very lively, active, and intelligent dog.

This breed adores children and does well with other pets. Keeshonds are very affectionate and alert.  Thus making them excellent watch dogs.

They require weekly brushing of their long coat with a stiff bristle brush. This breed will require extra care for shedding during the spring and fall.

The Keeshond does well in obedience training. They are highly intelligent.

They need to have daily exercise. Nice walks or romps in the yard can help to prevent weight gain.
