Two varieties – rough and smooth. Rough is flat or slightly wavy and medium length. Smooth is short. Both are thick and straight. Their colors vary form bicolor, tricolor, solid, merle or sable.

They are very energetic dogs that crave their ownwers affection.

The Border Collie is highly intelligent, loyal, affectionate and responsive.

Coats need to be brushed weekly.

These dogs are very difficult for the average person to train but they are always quick and eager to learn new commands.

This dog needs plenty of exercise. They have been bred to run miles a day.  For proper excercise we suggest atleast two 30 minute walks a day.
